John Ried is a recording engineer, producer, and musician. In 2010, armed with a Tascam 388 and a couple microphones, he moved to Bushwick, New York and setup Brick by Brick Studios. Since then Brick by Brick has been a place for local artists to have fun, record music and be in front of the video camera.

In his off time John enjoys cooking, coffee, and visiting his family in Virginia.

Cool thing about the @micparts V251 circuit is the socketed high frequency EQ capacitor. So I went out and bought a bunch of capacitors to really dial in the top. I ended up tested a 150pf, 180pf, 200pf, 220pf, and 300pf. The @beesneez_pro_audio caps
